In the post-pandemic era, the world is accelerating its embrace of artificial intelligence technology. This progression is reigniting a love for culture and entertainment, and restarting international cultural exchanges. UBTECH's commercial service robot, Cruzr, recently made its debut at "Riyadh Season," the largest cultural festival in Saudi Arabia. Stationed at one of the event's most famous tourist spots, the Boulevard Riyadh City Zone, Cruzr provides guidance and explanation services to tourists worldwide.

Saudi Arabia boasts a unique culture and customs. To enhance local service, UBTECH has collaborated with local partners to implement a series of adaptations for Cruzr. These Cruzr robots support Arabic and some local slang, and are equipped with responses to 400 common tourist questions. They can also perform authentic Arabic dances, effectively transforming into cultural ambassadors for Arab culture. Presently, Cruzr’s witty and talented image has deeply resonated with local people and international tourists alike. To further engage the influx of visitors, the "Riyadh Season" organizers have hosted robot parade activities across other event areas, introducing innovative entertainment forms and enriching the event's content.

Chinese companies, including the use of robots and 3D holography, have infused eye-catching high-tech elements into "Riyadh Season," Saudi Arabia's national cultural event. Local media reports indicate that as many as 8 million people have attended the "Riyadh Season" in just two months, underscoring the strong desire for cultural and entertainment activities among local residents and Middle Eastern people. Amid the pandemic's severe impact on international exchanges and travel, this represents a significant breakthrough.

"Riyadh Season" is organized by the Saudi Arabian Public Entertainment Department, with the intent to support Saudi Vision 2030 and hasten Saudi Arabia's transition from an oil-based economy to a diversified one. The inaugural "Riyadh Season" in 2019 not only showcased Riyadh and Saudi Arabia to the world, but also significantly boosted local employment and public consumption. In October 2021, "Riyadh Season" officially restarted, doubling the event's duration and planning to hold thousands of cultural and sports activities over five months.

As the synergy between China's "Belt and Road" Initiative and Saudi Vision 2030 strengthens, more cooperation opportunities are projected for Chinese and Saudi enterprises and social organizations, including partnerships in high-tech fields like aerospace, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Presently, Saudi Arabia is China's largest trading partner in West Asia, with China maintaining its position as Saudi Arabia's largest trading nation for seven consecutive years.

UBTECH, as a global AI and humanoid robot enterprise based in China, is actively seeking development opportunities along the "Belt and Road."
